CIA Staff Sarhind Arrests Man with Pistol and Live Cartridges in Fatehgarh Sahib, Suspected Criminal Plot Foiled
CIA Staff Sarhind arrested Harman Singh in Fatehgarh Sahib district after recovering a .30 bore pistol and three live cartridges from a black Hyundai Verna. Police stated he was allegedly planning a criminal act. The accused, already facing two prior cases, has been taken into custody and produced before the court as investigations continue into the incident and possible connections.
The arrested individual has been identified as Harman Singh, a resident of village Jalvera in Fatehgarh Sahib district. According to police officials, he was intercepted while travelling in a black Hyundai Verna bearing registration number HR-26-DK-2769. During the search operation, law enforcement recovered one .30 bore pistol along with three live cartridges from his possession.
Authorities stated that the accused was reportedly on the verge of executing a criminal incident when the timely intervention of the police team prevented any potential wrongdoing. The operation was conducted by CIA Staff Sarhind, which acted on credible inputs and successfully neutralized the threat before it could escalate.
Fatehgarh Sahib Senior Superintendent of Police Jaskirat Singh Ahir confirmed the arrest and the recovery of arms and ammunition. He further revealed that Harman Singh is a repeat offender, with two separate criminal cases already registered against him in the past.
Following his arrest, the accused has been taken into custody and is being presented before the court as legal proceedings move forward. Police officials have stated that further interrogation is underway to determine possible links, intent, and any wider network involved in the matter.
